Andrew and I are going over to Jen and Rob's for dinner tonight. I'm in charge of dessert, natch, and the only direction I am given is to avoid chocolate. I decide I'm going with a trifle but then I see an easy recipe for pumpkin bars with cinnamon cream cheese frosting. So I decide to make those as well, save some for the Saturday dinner and bring the rest into work on Friday.
Unfortunately, the bars ended up more as a cake. Which was disappointing but still tasty. And the frosting was very good.
