I felt like a batch of chocolate chip cookies with walnuts and in the process of making the cookies, I used:
- My new collapsible measuring cups and spoons
- My new silpat mat
- My new OXO cookie scoop (that easily makes the cutest and most symmetrical balls of dough that I've ever seen!)
- My new Ove Glove (protecting my hands from the burns I invariably inflict on myself)
Phu and Pete asked me why I didn't use the apron and baking mitts that they had gotten me, but the truth is, they're too pretty to get dirty! I may have to get a junky apron to actually use while baking and use their gift while entertaining as a hostess.
