The Search is On

I love having an "engaged" groom as a fiancé - he's right there alongside me, researching wedding venues (having figured out a rough guest list this past weekend, we have an idea of how many guests we will have and what size venue we'll need). Our two current favorite sources of information are theknot.com (to quote my sister Amy, obvi) and Boston.com's wedding boards. So far, we've narrowed the list down to a list of 15 sites (still a large number, I know) and we'll see how they work out in person and more importantly, how they will fit into our budget.

To give you a sneak peak, here's a look at two of the places:
The Connors Family Retreat and Conference Center in Dover (owned by BC)

Henderson House in Weston (owned by Northeastern University)
Henderson House offers a discount for Northeastern grads (Andrew went to law school there) and I'm hoping that the Connors Family retreat does the same for BC grads (where I went undergrad).

Anonymous (who I suspect to be Charlotte in Plymouth) - Andrew and I have been surprised by all the different places that are out there! We are hoping to find something special.

spongeamy - You may be excited by the dress shopping but I think that's going to be one of my least favorite parts! :) I think it's going to be a big pain in the butt, haha!

Underoo Elf aka bridesmaid - We're keeping our fingers crossed that we'll be able to afford a place that we love! :) We'll keep you posted.
