Trip to Super 88

Having my parents visiting for two weeks means tons of shopping trips, especially to find certain types of Asian foods. After visiting Amy's apartment in Brookline so my Mom could see it, we ventured into Super 88, a Chinese/Asian supermarket located in Brighton. It's not only filled with tons of Asian snacks, vegetables, fruits and seasonings that you wouldn't be able to find in a typical supermarket, it's also super cheap!

Some of the strange things I saw: Taro, Jicama and Arrow Root:

On the flip side, I saw one of my favorite childhood drinks from Korea - "Sac Sac" - a pulpy, orange juice:
And, a wall filled with different types of Japanese Pocky sticks:
